Outfits for Boys and Girl
Heirloom Christening outfits, First Communion Dresses or special occasion outfits for boys and girls can be created from your wedding gown or a piece of fabric or lace that has been in the family, including hankies, lace, etc.



Hannah is wearing a beautiful gown of 100% silk adorned
with a braided silk sash sprinkled with tiny pearls.
The hat is also trimmed with the braided silk and pearls.

Boy's Christening Gown Shantung silk edged with miniature baby blue crochet and white cord. Comes complete with cap and socks Infants small, medium, large and x-large

Long linen and cotton blend Christening gown trimmed with intage embroidered handkerchieves on the bodice, sleeves, hem and bonnet.  Hand crochet trimmed socks complete the outfit.  Can be made in white or off white.

Miniature white satin tuxedo featuring a one-piece romper, cut away jacket with tails, pulldown hat and matching socks.  The one-piece romper has a cotton top with short sleeves and a satin bow tie.  The attached satin pants sport white satin stripes down the legs and an attached cummerbund.  The cut away jacket has long sleeves, a double row of buttons on the front and, of course, tails in the back.  $125.00

Long 100% silk gown trimmed on the bodice and hat with vintage shadow lace.  This special gown features a scalloped hemline and hand crochet trimmed socks with tiny medals.  $135.00 Boy's satin romper with pleated bodice and long legs.  The collar, sleeves and pulldown hat are trimmed with white middy braid.  Medal trimmed socks complete  the outfit.$75.00

Silk dupioni romper and matching jacket

This is a truly elegant set, the romper has a row of mini pleats on the front
bodice and the legs. Each tiny pleat is sewed down for a finished look. The
jacket pattern is based on a trench coat with pleats both back and front and
a round collar with a ribbon tie.

For future brothers or sisters, the
gown was created with a boy's cap
and a girl's bonnet as well as
hand-crocheted socks to match.


Carlee's natural silk gown was designed
with pieces of beautiful vintage lace on
the bodice and bonnet. Between each
scallop on the hem is a tiny bow in
antique white to compliment the look. $150.00
Garrett wears a white linen sailor outfit
that comes with a matching hat and socks.
It is nice for a summer Christening and may
be made with short pants as well. $85.00

Convertible gown:
 This gown can be for either boy or girl. The skirt buttons on and can be taken off immediately after the Christening if it is a boy. The romper is complete underneath and can be made with either short or long pants. The skirt can be left on for a girl and the top can be made with long or short sleeves for either boy or girl. The fabrics can include satin, silk dupioni, linen or cotton batiste. As with all my Christening outfits, each outfit comes with a hat, bib and socks. The socks are crochet-trimmed.

$130.00 for satin, linen or cotton batiste.
 $150.00 for silk dupioni.

Christening outfits are made with great attention to detail.  Do you have some vintage lace or a hanky from your mother or grandmother?  I can incorporate the fabric into the design.  I also will embroider the child's name and the date of the christening into the outfit for you.It becomes  an heirloom to be passed down from child to child.  All the rest of the babies in the family get his or her name added to the outfit for free.

Baby girl's dresses range from $80 to $150 depending on fabric, detail, etc.

Boy's one or two piece sets with long or short pants range from $50 to 90.

Each boy's or girl's outfit is complete with a matching bonnet or cap and a tiny pair of socks with hand-crocheted trim and miniature medals or crosses for baby's special day.

Fabrics include satin, cotton, eyelet, silk, taffeta, and blends.  I can send you a sample through the mail.
